Fundraising at Brockmoor

The Brockmoor team hold a variety of events throughout the year to raise funds for both our own School Fund, as well as a number of national charities and local organisations.

School Fundraising

We have a dedicated staff and parent team who undertaking the planning and organisation of events at the school such as our annual Summer/Christmas Fayres, discos and more. The proceeds of which are used to fund projects or resources that benefit our families and children. For instance, we have funded theatre companies to deliver shows in school to pupils,  pantomimes for children and families to enjoy together, equipment for children to use at break time, development of our Forest Schools area and we also subsidise many other activities to make them more affordable, such as school trips.

National and Local Fundraising

Brockmoor supports lots of local and national fund raising initiatives such as Jeans for Genes and donations to the local Food Bank through our Harvest Festival collections. This year we raised £135.55 for the Roald Dahl Children's Charity through mufti donations. We always support the Royal Legion Poppy Appeal with poppies and merchandise on sale in School.

Children in Need

Every year Brockmoor is proud to support Children in Need and it's always a competition with the staff for who has the best costume ! Mr Bond always participates in the fun and photos are published on our Facebook page. We raise money on School by raffles, mufti donations and selling Pudsey merchandise. 

Comic Relief

Red noses everywhere ! Brockmoor sold red noses for Comic Relief this year and it was a great success. We raised over £300 including mufti donations and lots of staff dressed up as characters from the red nose animals.

Shoebox Appeal

Last year we sent over 60 shoeboxes filled with Christmas gifts to children in disadvantaged countries through the Teams 4 U Christmas Shoe box appeal. They send parcels all over the world to give a little joy to children for Christmas.  This year we are planning to support the charity again and ask for people to make up Christmas gift packs in shoe boxes.
