Welcome to Forest School
We are very fortunate to have our very own Forest School here at Brockmoor. The learning is sequenced by our professionally trained Level 3 Forest School Leader, Mrs Lloyd.
Forest School is a long term approach to education, for both young children and young people. It maximises the benefits of learning in the outdoors. It is a fantastic process that provides opportunities and experiences for children to achieve and develop confidence, self-esteem and knowledge of our natural environment through first hand experiences. The activities at Forest School are designed to improve the resilience of the children. The children are expected to have a go at everything and the adults will support them but not complete the task for them.
Forest school gives all children at Brockmoor the opportunity to develop key skills and confidence.
